Surprise Proposal | Lido Beach, Lido Key | Southwest Florida Engagement Photographer

Forty eight hours for this proposal to come from a moment of inspiration to actualization. Chase reached out to me knowing I was up to the task. Romantic proposal? Yes, please. 48 hours? Challenge accepted. From a coast away he knew the upcoming vacation to beautiful Sarasota was the place to ask the most important question of his life. Aside from the woman he wanted and the words he would use, he left the planning up to me. I decided South Lido beach would be the perfect backdrop for the best surprise possible.After setting the date all that was left was for me to secure the luscious sunset colored roses and set the stage. Knowing that the beach was this couples happy place made being at Lido during golden hour the perfect place to shoot this newly engaged couple. 

Believe it or not Chase and Jesenia went to the same elementary school, the same middle school, the same high school and even the same college. At a certain point of running into each other, often at the gym, they said lets see why the universe wants us together. Once they exchanged numbers they never looked back. 

The couple spends their days now busy in the throes of wedding planning. The dress and groom have been secured but the hunt for the perfect venue continues. Perhaps the beach for these sunset lovers!  In the end the new bride said  “I was in shock! I totally did not see it coming. I honestly could not stop crying (happy tears of course!). I wish I could relive that moment forever.” I could not agree more. Luckily with photos like the ones below they are able to be transported back to this special day any time they want!
