The day is finally here (or will soon be) and you’re trying to gather all the last-minute details. As a Southwest Florida wedding photographer with a deep love for allllll the wedding details, I’ve created a quick checklist of what to include in your wedding flat lay. And, trust me, it is absolutely okay if you do not have every single thing on this list or if you have more!! Your day and wedding flat lay will be PERFECT!🥂
What To Include In Your Wedding Flatly
- Wedding bouquets and florals (Ask your florist for loose flowers or have your floral arrangements handy!!)
- Invitations and Save The Date
- Heirloom items like a hair clip, bracelet, necklace, garter
- Extra wax seals, stamps, or anything fun on your envelope
- Wedding shoes and/or socks
- Wedding jewelry (necklace, bracelet, watch)
- Veil and/or hairpiece
- Vow books and/or personal letters to each other
- Rings and ring box (don’t forget the rings!!)
- Cuff links
- Perfume and cologne
- Any personalized or customized wedding decor (ring box, napkins, cups, party favors)
Details are a BIG deal to me! So anything you want to be documented on your special day should be included. I like to dedicate 60–90 minutes of your wedding day timeline to photographing all the details that bring your wedding day to life!
Lucky for me, I had time to practice photographing details and styling flatly on Duck Key at Hawks Cay Resort in the Keys at the Mirrorball Collective 2-day Styled Shoot! IT WAS AMAZING! I learned so much and cannot wait to bring your wedding flat lay dreams to LIFE!
