Sara & Nick | Couples Session with a Surprise Proposal

When you look this good a couples photo session is always a great idea. Nick and Sara scheduled just that with me. Little did Sara know, this session would go from a casual couples session to an engagement shoot! The shoot began at Armature Works & Hyde Park. Both locations offer such diversity in background, light and color. I love being able to play with the mural walls tucked around the neighborhood as well as the lines within the surrounding architecture.

After some playful shots of Nick and Sara as boyfriend and girlfriend we headed to Phillipe park for a second look. Once there, Sara was greeted by an extravagant picnic created by The Picnic Social. Every detail was thought of and executed to perfection. The pampas grass and rich moody tones mimicked Saras love for the bohemian aesthetic. Even the cozy pillows complemented the dress Sara had selected. The picnic was the perfect backdrop for these F.R.I.E.N.D.S fans to get engaged.  After Nick popped the question the champagne was popped. I loved being able to capture the full circle of how this session went from a couple session to an ENGAGEMENT SESSION.
